§ 5-6. Traffic-control signals; turn on red.

  • (a)

    The manager shall erect or install traffic-control signals to regulate vehicular and pedestrian traffic at the intersections and locations set forth in section 1 of the traffic-control schedules. The effect of such signals on vehicles and pedestrians shall be as provided in G.S. sections 20-158 and 20-172.

    (b)

    The manager shall erect a sign or signs notifying motorists that no right turn on red is permitted at the locations set forth in section 2 of the traffic-control schedules. When such signs are erected, no person may make a right turn against a red light contrary to such signs.
